Forest fires in Santa Barbara, California
After the wildfires in California have been largely extinguished - mostly from the air - in the most affected by the fire the city of Santa Barbara residents began to return.
Some are now to be re-rebuild homes destroyed by fire. Total orders for a general evacuation in California about 30 thousand people, and another 23 thousand awaiting evacuation, if the flames spread. Now all alerts lifted, and people were allowed to return.
Forest fires in California, began on Tuesday May 5 and has since continued to spread along the coast. The fire continues to rage despite the efforts of more than 3.5 thousand firefighters. Flames destroyed hundreds of homes and residents had to take refuge in schools and stadiums.
