Nissan won the LA 2009 Design Challenge at the LA Auto Show with its Nissan V2G (Vehicle to Grid) prototype. The challenge was to create a design that embodied a youth-oriented vehicle for the year 2030, and Nissan’s futuristic motorbike won the title of “Youth Mobile 2030.” Although Nissan left many of the vehicle’s details for the future, they did say that the V2G uses bioresin impregnated carbon nanotube cloth technology for the materials—whatever that means. So here it is, the “cool-kid” vehicle of 2030.
